The A. G. Davis 5” Rotary Calibrator is ideally suited for evaluating angular errors on rotary and trunion tilt axes. The Optics Adapter Plate allows easy mounting of the Renishaw or HP Angular Optics. By mounting the Calibrator on the center of rotation, angular errors are accurately measured with the laser Angular Optics. The Anti-wrap Adapter Plate permits rotary axis calibration without Air Line wrap-up. 

The Trunion Tilt Adapter includes a right angle plate and an adapter for Mahr Federal Electronic Levels. The Electronic Levels enable the operator to mount the Calibrator off center of rotation. The Remote Control Valve is for locking and unlocking the Calibrator.

When used in conjunction with Locus™ eM software, a scale factor is applied to the angular errors which converts angular errors in arc seconds to decimal degrees, aiding the mechanic in applying axis compensation.

The RX10 Rotary Calibrator Kit enables the evaluation of angular errors on rotary axes using laser Angular Optics.

The Renishaw RX10 allows fully automatic calibration at any angular increment or random position. It also has automatic self-calibration, which eliminates error during setup.

The RX10 Rotary Calibrator Kit is compatible with Renishaw and other Laser Interferometers. It provides accuracy better than ±1 arc seconds and repeatability of better than 0.2 arc seconds. The operating range is 0 - 40° C. The RX10 interfaces with a PC via an RS232 serial port.

Note: This Rotary Calibrator is compatible with the HP 5528 Laser System if used with Renishaw Laser10 software and GPIB interface.
