Robert (Buz) Callaghan is the President and Senior Engineer at Independent Quality Labs, Inc. He has over 46 years experience in metrology and precision tool and machine design. Buz has published numerous papers on the accuracy of CMMs and CNC machine tools. He is an active member of the ASME standard committees: B5.54 "Methods for Performance Evaluation of Computer Numerically Controlled Machining Centers," and B5.57 "Methods for Performance Evaluation of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Lathes and Turning Centers," as well as a supporter of ISO 230 Test code for machine tools. Buz holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Justin Lebel, IQL’s Mechanical Engineer, holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from New England Institute of Technology. Justin focuses on new product design and development. He also has several years experience running both manual and CNC controlled machine tools.
Kerry Callaghan is the Contract Manager, Training Coordinator, and Technical Editor at IQL. She upholds government contract requirements, creates training presentations, and maintains the corporate website. She is also responsible for marketing any events. Kerry has a B.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design.
As IQL’s Office Manager, Charlotte Gardiner, handles everything from bookkeeping and travel arrangements to planning the company Christmas party. She is the overall glue that binds our IQL team together.
